Project Safe - continuation

In June 2018 we have been dealing with the continuation of the project "Safe, Healthy and Sportive at School." After abrading the wing pallets, which younger students where actively helping with, we got to the painting part.
The Student Council had chosen oak wood stain, so the students were cleaning, abrading, painting … There were more students from different years taking turns in helping; a big "Thank you" goes to all of them. The painting took us a little longer than we had originally planned (June 20th to 29th 2018) but one cannot order the weather.
We are again a little bit closer to having the chill out zone at our EGT. We are going to wait for the delivery of all the things we have ordered (like the furniture, sitting bags and pillows for the wing pallets) and in September, the result of our effort will be waiting for us.
The project has been realized thanks to Nadácia pre deti Slovenska (Foundation for the children of Slovakia) and the Kooperativa Insurance Company, from the Children in Safe Place foundation resources.

Projekt Bezpečne - pokračovanie

V júni 2018 sme sa venovali opätovne trošku aktívnejšie pokračovaniu projektu V škole bezpečne, zdravo aj hravo. Po vybrúsení paliet, pri ktorých aktívne pomáhali žiaci prvých ročníkov, sme pristúpili k ich maľovaniu. Žiacka rada si zvolila odtieň dub a tak žiaci čistili, brúsili, maľovali...
Na prácach sa priebežne zúčastňovalo a vystriedalo viacero žiakov z viacerých ročníkov, za čo im patrí veľké ďakujem. Maľovanie nám trvalo trochu dlhšie (20 – 29. júna) ako sme plánovali, no počasiu nerozkážeme.
Sme opäť trošku bližšie k cieľu vytvorenia chill out zóny v našom EGT. Počkáme na dodávku všetkých zrealizovaných objednávok nábytku, sedacích vakov, vankúšov na palety a v septembri nás už bude v šatni čakať výsledok našich prác.
Táto aktivita sa uskutočnila vďaka podpore Nadácie pre deti Slovenska a poisťovne Kooperativa z nadačného fondu Deti v bezpečí.
