Presentation of SIR

On October 19, 2012, we, the students from the fifth grade, the members of former student company égalité, took part in the presentation for the members of HP Slovakia.
The reason for the presentation was to introduce the project called SIR (Social Innovation Relay,), in which we participated, won the state finals, and we made it to the second place in the global finals together with China. Simultaneously, we shared our experiences with the members of HP Slovakia, the students and teachers from the business academy. Since the SIR competition was run online, we also talked about our cooperation with the tutors from HP Slovakia.
At the end of the presentation, we were awarded by the CEO of Hewlett Packard Slovakia, Martin Kubala, who passed the newest tablets to the students saying: ..for that these young people managed to proove that even if we are living in a small country we can sell ourselves among such countries as the USA, the Great Britain, or China. This is so inspiring for us, and therefore we decided to award these young and successful people...

Prezentácia SIR

Dňa 19. októbra 2012 sme sa my, žiaci piateho ročníka, členovia bývalej študentskej spoločnosti égalité, zúčastnili prezentácie pre členov HP Slovakia.
Zámerom bolo predstaviť projekt Social Innovation Relay, do ktorého sme sa zapojili, vyhrali národné finále a v globálnom finále sme spolu s Čínou získali druhé miesto. Podelili sme sa sa o svoje zážitky so zamestnancami HP Slovakia, žiakmi a učiteľmi z obchodnej akadémie. Nakoľko súťaž Social Innovation Relay prebiehala online, tak sme hovorili aj o spolupráci s konzultantmi z HP Slovakia.
Na konci našaj prezentácie sme boli ocenení generálnym riaditeľom HP Slovakia, Martinom Kubalom, ktorý nám odovzdal najnovšie tablety firmy Hewlett Packard.
Pri tejto príležitosti Martin Kubala povedal: ... za to, že sa týmto mladým ľuďom podarilo dokázať, že aj keď sme malá krajina, dokážeme sa predať aj medzi takými veľmocami ako USA, Veľká Británia, či Čína. Je to pre nás veľkou inšpiráciou, a preto sme sa rozhodli oceniť týchto mladých a úspešných ľudí...
