Visit

On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, Ján Holčík, the chairman of the Slovak Lutheran Union, the former Slovak Minister of Industry, former general supervisor of ECAV, currently the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bata Slovakia, visited the school.
He brought us the film about the Slovak business of the Duda family, which has successfully been established in the United States. A documentary with a powerful message, that interested the students, was shown during the regular chapel time.
Then, during the meetings in the classrooms, the guest talked to the students about his activities he did as minister.
In the afternoon, Ján Holčík visited a meeting of the student company Eaglet. The whole meeting took place in a very relaxed atmosphere with the members of the student company, the teacher of applied economy, Mr. Čajko, and the principal of EGT, Helena Pašiaková. Mr. Holčík provided them with much information about the world famous business of Tomas Bata, business ethics and his own experience in the position of minister.
The students were very pleased that they were able to attend this meeting, and they would like to thank Mr. Holčík for his very enriching lecture.

V utorok 9. decembra 2014 navštívil školu Ján Holčík, predseda Slovenskej evanjelickej jednoty, bývalý minister priemyslu SR, bývalý generálny dororca ECAV, ktorý v súčasnosti pôsobí ako predseda dozornej rady Baťa Slovensko a.s.
Priniesol film o slovenskej podnikateľskej rodine Dudovcov, ktorá sa úspešnej etablovala v USA. Dokument so silným posolstvom, ktoré zaujalo žiakov, sme premietli v rámci chapelu.
Na besedách v triedach potom hosť rozprával žiakom o svojom pôsobení vo funkcii ministra.
Popoludní sa Ján Holčík zúčastnil na firemnom zhromaždení študentskej spoločnosti Eaglet. Celé stretnutie prebiehalo vo veľmi príjemnej atmosfére, v kruhu členov študentskej spoločnosti, pána učiteľa Čajka a pani riaditeľky.
Pán Holčík členom firmy interesantne a srdečne priblížil mnoho zaujímavostí zo sféry podnikania slávneho Tomáša Baťa, etiky v podnikaní či skúsenosti samotného pána Holčíka v pozícii ministra.
Študenti boli veľmi radi, že sa mohli zúčastniť tohto stretnutia a ďakujú pánovi Holčíkovi za jeho veľmi obohacujúcu prednášku.
