Project Safe, Healthy and Sportive at School

In January 2017 we bid for support of a project called “Safe, Healthy and Sportive at School”, in a program of grants called Safe in the community, safe at home 2018. At the end of February we received good news – we were successful. The obligatory processes followed, such as signing the contract and waiting for the first instalment, after which we were able to start.
The project was financially supported by Nadácia pre deti Slovenska (Foundation for the children of Slovakia) and the Kooperativa Insurance Company, from the Children in Safe Place foundation resources. The goal of the project is to turn the lockers area in our school into a safe, relaxing zone where students can spend their free time in between or after their classes. There will be space there to make a tea, heat their food, play different games, relax in a nice environment, do their homework, wait for their buses, or just hang out with their friends.
We will use the financial support to decorate the place, buy and make comfortable seating places and establish a kitchen corner. It was the students who came up with the idea of the chill out zone, and thus the representatives of the School Council are actively involved in the realization of this project.
A team met about the project in March for the first time, divided the tasks among themselves, staggered the activities and created an information poster. The next steps will be distributing a market survey and purchasing the goods and materials needed for the first part of the practical implementation in school. If you are willing to volunteer in this project or have any remarks to share, address them to your class representatives in the School Council.
We believe that together we will manage to turn this space into a pleasant place for hanging out and building relationships and cooperation among classmates.

Projekt V škole bezpečne, zdravo aj hravo

V januári sme sa uchádzali o podporu projektu s názvom „V škole bezpečne, zdravo aj hravo“ v grantovom programe Bezpečne v komunite, bezpečne doma 2018.
Koncom februára prišla potešujúca správa – boli sme úspešní. Nasledovali povinné formality ako podpis zmluvy, čakanie na prvú splátku a práce sa mohli začať. Projekt finančne podporila Nadácia pre deti Slovenska a poisťovňa Kooperativa z nadačného fondu Deti v bezpečí.
Cieľom projektu je vytvoriť z priestorov školských šatní bezpečnú, relaxačnú a oddychovú zónu pre žiakov, kde by mohli tráviť svoj voľný čas medzi a aj po vyučovaní. Bude tu možnosť uvariť si čaj, ohriať jedlo, zahrať rôzne hry, relaxovať v príjemnom prostredí, urobiť si domáce úlohy, počkať na svoj spoj domov, alebo len tak porozprávať sa s kamarátmi. Finančné prostriedky použijeme na skrášlenie priestoru, nákup a výrobu pohodlného sedenia a zriadenie kuchynského kútika.
Nápad zriadiť v škole chill out zónu vzišiel zo strany samotných žiakov a aj preto sa na realizácii aktívne podieľajú zástupcovia žiackej školskej rady.
V marci sa konalo úvodné stretnutie realizačného tímu, ktorého výsledkom bolo rozdelenie úloh, zosúladenie harmonogramu jednotlivých aktivít, ako aj tvorba informačného plagátu. Nasleduje prieskum trhu a nákup tovarov a materiálov potrebných na prvú školskú brigádu. Ponuky dobrovoľníckej práce, ako aj prípadné pripomienky adresujete prosím svojim triednym zástupcom žiackej rady.
Verím, že spoločnými silami sa nám z tohto priestoru podarí vytvoriť príjemné miesto na stretávanie sa a rozvíjanie medziľudských vzťahov, či utužovanie kolektívu školy.
